Christopherson Business Travel Account Managers receive CCTE Certification

August 19, 2005, Salt Lake City - George Mathis and Greg Ross, two of Christopherson Business Travel's senior Account Managers, graduated from the National Business Travel Association's (NBTA) Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE) program during NBTA's 37th Annual Convention and Trade show this week at the San Diego Convention Center.

They were two of only 56 industry colleagues nationwide who earned the CCTE designation this year. "CCTE is recognized throughout the corporate travel industry as an indicator of a travel manager expert. These graduates have completed a rigorous course, including two separate weeks of classroom instruction, a selection of electives and an exam. They have certainly earned the title 'Certified Corporate Travel Executive'," said NBTA Chairman/Past President, Carol A. Devine, CCTE.

CCTE, the only travel management certification program available in the industry, is offered by NBTA in conjunction with the University of Houston's Conrad Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. CCTE students learn financial management techniques, control procedures, and business strategies in order to better design travel programs that help companies meet strategic goals.
