Christopherson Travel Group opens second on-site travel office at the University of Utah for Health Sciences Colleges and Hospitals

May 7, 2004, Salt Lake City -

Christopherson Travel Group (CTG) is opening a dedicated on-site travel office for the University of Utah Health Sciences on May 10, 2004. The on-site travel office will serve four University academic areas: School of Medicine, Colleges of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health, as well as the University Hospital, and the Huntsman Cancer Hospital.

In 2001, CTG was contracted by the University of Utah to help begin consolidating their travel management operations. The first CTG dedicated on-site travel office was opened on campus in the Park Building to handle administration and the lower campus departmental travel needs. In 2002, the University of Utah Athletics travel was added to the Christopherson on-site office.

"Opening this new Health Sciences travel office completes the University's travel consolidation process," said Kori DeHaan, University of Utah Travel Department Manager. "We have been very pleased with Christopherson's expert consultants, travel technology, and their established partnership with other University departments. By adding Health Sciences to the Christopherson Travel team, we expect to save a significant amount on our overall University travel budget," said DeHaan.
