Headwaters, based in Draper, Utah, provides services to convert fossil fuels, such as gas, coal, and heavy oils into alternative energy products. Through its subsidiary, ISG Resources, Headwaters is the nation's largest provider of coal combustion products management and marketing services to the electric power industry. Christopherson previously managed an on-site travel office for ISG Resources in Salt Lake City, which Headwaters acquired. "We have just completed the most successful year in Headwaters' history," said Steve Stewart, Headwaters CFO. "We significantly exceeded our goal of growing the earnings of the Company at a 30% rate. Because of the strong growth we are experiencing in our solid alternative fuel operations and the ISG acquisition, we are forecasting a growth rate goal for fiscal 2003 in excess of 30%," continued Stewart.
