Hotel chains recently introduced price parity with guarantees for the lowest available rate across all of their distribution channels, including your Christopherson Business Travel agent's powerful global distribution system (GDS), Worldspan. Marriott's "Look No Further" best rate guarantee and Hilton's "Our Best Rates Guaranteed" program are examples. While the details and guarantees of each program may vary, this essentially introduces a fluid price structure to the hotel industry that is similar to the airline industry. Like the airline industry, hotels are raising or lowering their prices based on excess, "distressed" inventory which is determined by very dynamic hotel market conditions.

Agent Notification
Your Christopherson Business Travel agent individually manages and monitors each of your reservations. At least 3 days prior to your check-in date, your agent is notified of your upcoming reservation. Your agent then searches for a lower rate for your requested room type at your currently booked hotel. It's not uncommon for your agent to find the same room type for $25-50 per night cheaper.
